ABOUT
100% of the profits from physical and digital Bandcamp sales will go to Coco's heirs.
The album was an unfinished project: only the bass and drum tracks were recorded; everything else consisted of virtual instruments and provisional tracks. His voice was also unfinished, recorded solely as a reference for the musicians. But his talent, sensitivity, and creativity remained intact in those imperfect songs.
Five years later, Toto Sobieski, along with the rest of the band's key musicians from that final period, decided to resume his work. From this point forward, and remaining faithful to Coco's instructions and working methods, they completed what had been left unfinished. It was a process filled with tears, sweat, longing, and inspiration. Only their love for Coco made it possible to bring this album to life.
A miracle that would not have been possible without... Toto Sobieski. Thank you for taking on this monumental task, for the many, many hours you dedicated to the album, for turning your home into your workshop, for sacrificing time with your family—thanks also to your partner, Esperanza Faci—and above all, for the immense love you poured into every note.Without you, this album would not have been possible.
José San Martín, Juan San Martín, and Juan Manuel Fano, thank you for your involvement in every way, for your work, support, and unwavering commitment to Coco.
Javier Pajarola, Lucho Esparcia, Alicia Fernández, Roberto Bazán, Carlos Badorrey, Zulaima Boheto, Luis Giménez and José Luis Seguer "Fletes", companions of so many gigs and rehearsals, thank you for your affection and generosity, and for giving us all your art and knowledge.
Francisco Fattoruso, Ernesto Cossío, Alberto Enguita, Thomas Kretzschemar and Faustino Cortés, thank you for getting on board this ship, and enriching it with your music and to Gladston Galliza for lending his voice to the song that gave the album its name.
Kike Cruz and Devid Marco "Pichín," thank you for your involvement in the project and for making everything possible for us.And to José Luis Seguer "Fletes," Nico Cassinelli, Roberto Bazán, and Sergio Menem for offering us their spaces and time for recording the necessary tracks. And to María José Montón, friend and colleague, who readily accepted the challenge of graphic design and generously shared her professionalism, generosity, and affection.
Finally, thank you to everyone who keeps Coco's memory alive, to those for whom his music is present in their lives. As long as his songs and soul resonate, and while the legacy he left in his students endures, Coco will remain present, now more than ever, in CUERPO and soul.AZUCENA RODA
